Funeral Services for Louise “Mammy” Peck Wages, 85, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Living Way Apostolic Church with Rev. Nathan Thornton, Rev. D.G. Chance, Rev. Johnny Phillips, and Joe Phillips officiating. Interment will be held in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Louise was born on January 30, 1928 in Pollock, LA and passed away on May 30, 2013 in West Monroe, LA. She loved her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. Family was her life. She is preceded in death by her children, David Wages and Dorothy Wages.
Mrs. Louise is survived by her husband, Alfred Wages, Jr.; daughter, Melba Wages Saterfiel and husband Doyle; grandchildren, Jeff Wages, Scott Saterfiel and wife Sheri, Jay Wiley and wife Angie, John Wages and wife Heather, Christa DeJong and husband Dean, Amanda and Sara Borgstadt; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scott Saterfiel, Jeff Wages, Jared Saterfiel, Jay Wiley, Kyle Wiley, and Corbin Wiley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Doyle Saterfiel, John Wages, Dean DeJong, Jim Borgstadt, W.H. Dycus, Gary Dycus, and Joe Ed Phillips.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Living Way Apostolic Church, West Monroe.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Gamble Hospice for their care of Mammy.
Memorials may be made to Living Way Apostolic Church, West Monroe.
