Funeral Service for Mrs. Lottie Fisher Nordan, 89, of West Monroe, LA will be held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at The Pentecostals of the Twin Cities in West Monroe with Pastor Mark Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, West Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.Mrs. Nordan passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016. She was born on October 29, 1926, to Emma and Harmon West, both deceased, in Luna, Louisiana. Lottie and her first husband, Clarence Leroy Fisher, married for 60 years, had one daughter, Betty Lynn Thompson, also deceased. Lottie had four grandchildren, whom she devoted her life to. Starting her career as a dental assistant in the early 50’s, Lottie changed career paths and became a bookkeeper for LSU Conway Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana. After retiring from the medical center, she knew her services to the community were not over and became the bookkeeper for Arkansas Stone. Lottie left a stamp of her heart on everyone she met. She was nominated for the Outstanding Senior Citizen award from The Twin Cities in her later years, to honor her love for all people and her community. In her free time, Lottie loved cooking, working in her garden, and spending time with her loving family. She was a dedicated member at First United Pentecostal Church which she loved dearly. Lottie will be reunited again with brothers, Al West, Murray West, and sister, Lula Parnell; as well as her loved ones, Clarence Leroy Fisher and Ben Nordan. She is survived by sisters, Deloris Humphry, Retha Andrews and Geneva Guilliot; also carrying on her legacy are her grandchildren, Wendy Wisenor Campbell of Lake Charles, LA, Stacey Wisenor of Katy, TX, Marcus Russell of West Monroe, LA and Monica O’Neal, of West Monroe, LA; great grandchildren, Dayne Campbell, Kaytlin Wisenor, Samantha Wisenor, Abigail Russell, Maddy Russell, and Lincoln Russell, Nicholas Russell and Regan Ball. Pallbearers will be Marcus Russell, Dayne Campbell, Bart O’neal, Steve Fisher, Buddy Fisher and Gary Fisher. Honorary Pallbearer will be Stacey Wisenor.
