Lorene Arrant Johnson

Funeral services for Ms. Lorene Arrant Johnson, 86, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 21, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Rev. Don DeLukie officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, also in Monroe. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.

Ms. Johnson was born October 25, 1937, and passed away January 18, 2024. She was a member of Sterlington Church of Christ.

Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her father, L.V. Arrant, Sr.; mother, Florence Arrant; and sisters, Virginia Hart, Carolyn Rensen and Jeanie Flanagan.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, James Johnson; son, Barry Johnson; daughter, Tammie Goedhals; sisters, Evelene Malone (Ralph), Shirley Sumrall, Katie Sivils (Roy), Martha Moody, Elaine Smith (Roy), Cecilia McGee (Frank), Betty Solomon (Eshou), and Joanie Slagle; brothers, Vernon Arrant and Kent Arrant (Jeanne); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews.
