Lonnie Brothers

Funeral services celebrating the life of Lonnie “Unckie” Brothers, 79, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Ridge Avenue Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Dr. Jim Wolfe and Rev. Bruce McGee officiating. Interment will follow in the New Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Brothers was born on December 7, 1942 and passed away on July 11, 2022. He was a member of Ridge Avenue Baptist Church. Mr. Brothers loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and his flower garden.

Survivors include his wife, Ginger Brothers, daughter, Lark Brothers; step-children, Sundee Bolton and husband, Tommy and Apryl Guillory and husband, Zach; twin sister, Bonnie Tibbetts; 4 step-grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Fred Shields, Steve Johnston, Buddy Bennett, Andy Curry, Fred Stewart, and Randal Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dale Smith, and Dr. Tommy Grafton.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at Ridge Avenue Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to the Ridge Avenue Baptist Church Prayer Park.
