Service for Mrs. Lola R. Gibbs, 87, of Houma, LA formally of Rayville, LA will be 2 PM Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in Rayville, LA with Rev. Roger Johnson officiating. Internment to follow in Stevenson Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA
Mrs. Gibbs a member of the Baptist Faith and was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, 6-brothers, 2 –sisters, her husband P.G. Gibbs, a son Don Jones, daughter Patsy Cowart and two grandchildren Jody Jones and Tracy Jones.
She is survived by one son, David Jones and his wife Dianne of LaPlace, LA, four daughters, Lola Ann Keller-Watson and her husband Keith of LaPlace, LA,Susan Keller and her husband Marvin of Hazel Green, Al, Judy Faul and her husband Roy of Hahnville, LA and Billie Guerrero of Houma, LA,17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, two sisters, Doris Goyne of Eldorado, AR and Mildred Barnes Granbury, TX as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be missed greatly and was the most beautiful, loving, and caring women in the World.
Pallbearers will be Toby Keller, Donald Keller, Joey Keller, Keith Watson, David Jones and Troy LaBlanc.
