Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Rayville with Rev. Roger Johnson and Rev. Waymond Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Start Cemetery in Start, LA. Mrs. Lola was a fighter at the age of 73 and never did anything according to what her doctors predicted. She left us on September 21, 2007 staying true to form defying all predictions and doing it her way. Lola was a devout Christian and member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Rayville, LA. We are grateful for the valuable time God granted us following her brain surgery in 1982. She was an employee of Delta Sales Company of Rayville, LA. Lola was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Temple and her parents Bryant and Ella Freeland. Her 40 years marriage to Arnold Temple was a testimony of true love to anyone that knew them. Lola’s spirit is kept alive through her only child Sherrie McCraw and husband Rusty; granddaughters, Tabitha Gilley, Tara Knight and husband Robert, Tashia Osborn and husband Chad; great grandson, Tristen Osborn all of West Monroe, LA; brother, Jerry Freeland and wife Donna; sisters, Lillian Reitzel, Jean Silk and husband Shelby, Janet Pearson and husband Buddy. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, September 24, 2007 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville, LA. Memorials in her name may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church or the building fund for Fair Park Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA.
