Funeral Services for Logan Andrew Wilson, 19, of Hueytown, AL and formerly of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2010, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Alan Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, LA.
Logan passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. He graduated from Brentwood Christian Academy. He never met a stranger and was loved dearly by all that knew him. Logan’s grin always lit up a room. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Wilson Lee; and his grandfathers, Bill Wilson, Sr. and James W. “Hoot” Gibson.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Bill Wilson, Jr. and Carol; sister, Whitnee Spradlin (Eric); step-sisters, Kristen Payton (Rod) and Ashley Cagle (Trey); grandmothers, Helen Wilson, Maudie Gibson, and Gladys Luthcke; aunts, Diane Cottingham (Rusty) and Lisa Robertson (Alan); uncle, Ray Gibson (Diana); four nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Cottingham, Kris Cottingham, John Putnam, Wade Bishop, Harvey Gibson, Alif Gibson, and Jimmy Gibson. Honorary pallbearer will be Colby Wood.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, October 1, 2010, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL.
