He was best known for his love of fishing, hunting, and his famous fried catfish or stuffed smoked brisket. He was also someone you could call to fix anything broken. He would do anything for someone that needed a helping hand. He brightened many peoples’ day by sending an individual text to each person with anything from “have a blessed day” to “happy hump day” or anything else crazy that came to mind.
Lloyd served in the Army National Guard from October 1965 to October 1971. His career was spent working for Pan Amoco as an automation technician from 1968 to 1998. After retirement, of course, it was spent doing his favorite things.
Lloyd is survived by his wife Jimmie K Jenkins; daughters, Kim (Eric), Angie (Skip); son, Chris (Summer); and stepdaughter, Cindi (Kyle).
He had ten grandchildren: Justin (Naomi), Austin (Ashley), Charlie, Jacob, Joshua, Stefan, Ella, Morgan, Kaylie, and Laureli.
His great-grandchildren are Isaac, Addieline, and Tate.
He spent his last years serving the Lord at McClendon Baptist Church.
