Livonia Liberta Sylvestri

Livonia Liberta Sylvestri was born in Monroe, LA on January 23, 1928, and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on September 6, 2021. She is survived by her five children, Guina Sylvestri Elliott and husband Jamie, Vincent Sylvestri, Jr., Rocco Sylvestri and wife Laraine, Nick Sylvestri and wife Beth, Joe Sylvestri and wife Terri; brothers, Louis Guirlando and Rocco Guirlando; and a multitude of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Sylvestri, Sr.; son, Gabriel Sylvestri; grandson, Matthew Elliott; parents, Rocco and Virginia Guirlando; sister, Mary Guirlando; and brothers, Joe Guirlando, Victor Guirlando, and Leon Guirlando.
Mrs. Sylvestri was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where she served on the Altar Society and Progressive Men’s Club Auxiliary. She served as the cafeteria manager at St. Frederick High School, Jesus the Good Shepherd, and Our Lady of Fatima Schools.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Questech Learning, Our Lady of Fatima Church or St. Frederick High School.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 11:00AM Thursday, September 9, 2021, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30AM Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.
