Saturday August 20, 2016 at Christ Church in West Monroe, with Rev. Tom Lowe officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Saturday at Christ Church in West Monroe.Lisa was born on March 28, 1975 in Rapid City, South Dakota and passed away on August 14, 2016 in Monroe, LA. She graduated from West Monroe High School and was a real estate agent for Remax Premier. She is preceded in death by her father, James Michael Caplinn.Lisa was blessed with a life of many blessings. Her kind and loving spirit touched everyone she came in contact with. Her love of travel put her in places all over the world but nothing meant more to her than her family especially her children and grandchildren. She fought a good fight and was a true fighter all the way to the bitter end, smiling each and every step of the way.Survivors include her husband Glenn Northcott; mother, Marie Middlebrooks; step-father, Gary Middlebrooks and wife Kathy; children, Tyler Lacas and wife Emma, Dylan Lacas, Austin Northcott and wife Yanessa, Landon Northcott, Maggie Northcott; grandchildren, Addyson Grace Lacas and Bryson Hayes Lacas; brothers, Shawn Nason and Eric MiddlebrooksThe family would like to thank the entire medical team at Ochsners Hospital of New Orleans for their unending dedication and support during Lisa’s yearlong battle with breast cancer.
