Funeral Services for Lionel Antley, 82, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 26, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Interment will be held in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Calhoun.Richard was born on June 7, 1933 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on May 22, 2016 in Alexandria, LA. Richard was a proud U.S. Navy “Sea Bee” serving in Guam and the Philippines. Richard was an electrician and a member of the IBEW local 446 since 1957, retiring in 1997. He earned his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying as a private pilot. Richard also loved reading, crossword puzzles, fishing, baseball, basketball and his wife Jean’s home cooked meals. Most of all he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Jimmie Antley and his brother Garry Wayne Antley.Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Jean Antley; his two sons, Richard Steven Antley and wife, Kay; Tim Antley and wife Donna; grandchildren, Traci Antley Self and husband David, Tony Antley and Skylar Antley; great grandchildren, Mia Self and Cole Self; one brother, Lindy Antley; and one sister, Kay Rhodes.
