Linda Walker Ellerbe

Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Walker Ellerbe, 78, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. David McCormick officiating. Interment will be in the Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Ellerbe was born on March 6, 1940 and passed away on March 15, 2018. She loved playing cards and Bingo with the other residents at Ridgecrest Nursing Home. Mrs. Ellerbe is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lena Walker; her husband, Wilbur Ellerbe and her longtime friend, Alton Edney; sister, Faye Irvin; and brothers, Billy Walker and Jimmy Walker.

Survivors include her sister, Nelda Bentel; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Walker and JoAnn Walker; longtime friends, Roger and Marti Berry; her roommate, Jo McKnight; children, Timothy Higgins and Suzie Irvin; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until Service Time on Saturday.
