Linda Tarkington

Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Tarkington, 79, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 20, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA, with Terry Ware officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.

Linda Tarkington was born December 26, 1942 and passed away December 17, 2022. She was a member of Jackson Street Church of Christ and she taught Sunday school for over 30 years at White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ. She was also the Co-Owner of Daniel Appliance.

Survivors include her husband, James E. Tarkington; children, James D. Tarkington and wife Kristie Cobb Tarkington, and Laura Chisholm and husband Brandon; grandchildren, Trent Chisholm, Ainsley Koehler and Kennen Cobb; and sister, Charlotte Mears and husband Ray.

Pallbearers will be Troy Culp, Billy Tomlinson, Ken Green, David Smith, Terry Bourgeois, and Kennen Cobb.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday, December 19, 2022, at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
