Funeral services for Linda McDaniel Ponder, 61, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 19, 2010, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Interment will follow at Hebert Cemetery.

Mrs. Ponder passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Richardson Medical Center in Rayville, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nickie D. Ponder; and father, Charlie McDaniel, Sr.

Survivors include her sons, John Ponder, and Chris Ponder and wife Renea; daughter, Angela Ponder; mother, Weta Mae McDaniel; brothers, Charlie McDaniel, Jr., and John Keith McDaniel; sister, Carolyn Jones, twelve grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 Pm at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
