Linda Kay Condrey Tripp
A Celebration of Life Ceremony for Mrs. Linda Kay Condrey Tripp, 71, of Monroe, LA, will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2020, at White’s Ferry Road Church in West Monroe with Trent Langhoffer and Royce Ogle officiating.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 21,2020 at Herringville Baptist Church Cemetery in Epps, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Linda was born February 11, 1948 in Wynne, La and passed away on January 14, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital. She attended Northeast La. University. After being involved in several business enterprises, she owned and operated Care Solutions and later founded Angel Ministries. Her life was dedicated to “Sharing the Caring” for people who needed her special touch, her loving heart and most of all her prayers. She started a “Pray for Me at 3” program where she stopped everything she was doing each day at 3 and prayed for those who were addicted to drugs and those who loved them.
Linda was a member of the White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ and very active in the Celebrate Recovery Ministry. She was also a “Heart Mom” in the church’s “Heartfelt Ministries” mentor mom program.
She was preceded in death by her father, Houston Condrey.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Tripp; son, Taylor Southern and his wife Ashley; daughter, Lindy Lambert and her husband, Tommy, both of Monroe; her mother, Mildred Condrey of Lake Providence; two brothers, Ricky Condrey and his wife Gayle, Tommy Condrey and his wife, Olivia, also of Lake Providence; one sister, Lisa Ward and her husband Joe of Covington, La; eight grandchildren who adored their “Nana” and a host of stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Jason Condrey, Neal Condrey, Ted Condrey, Wade Condrey, Houston Ward, Pete Lensing, and Hardy Gordon.
Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2020, at White’s Ferry Road Church.
