Linda Inez Shoemaker

Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Linda Inez Shoemaker, 70, of Rayville, LA will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 4, 2021 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville, La with Rev. John Skinner officiating. Interment will follow at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Rayville, LA. under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.

Mrs. Shoemaker died January 31, 2021 at the St. Francis Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Shoemaker served in area Assembly of God churches as worship leader and choir director for many years. She was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors: her husband, Horace Earl Shoemaker; 3 Sons, Johnny Earl Shoemaker, Sr. (Cindy Suellen), Randy Joe Shoemaker and Timothy Lynn Odom (Brandi Nicole Sapp), Sister, Virginia Lewis (Jerry); 4 brothers, Michael Wayne Overstreet (Pat), John Franklin Overstreet, Jr., Stevie Eugene Overstreet, and Charles Tony Overstreet (Kathy); Grandchildren, Johnny Earl Shoemaker, Jr., Andrew Caleb Cowen Shoemaker, Philip Daniel Lee Shoemaker, Nathanael David Alan Shoemaker, Jennifer Shoemaker, Carter Joe Shoemaker, Hunter Ryan Odom and Hayden Brian Odom, Timothy Lynn Odom Jr., Brianna Lynn Nicole Odom; 3 Great Grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville, LA

Pallbearers will be Kenny Ray Johnston, Sr., Kenny Douglas Johnston, Shawn Leyse, Kevin Graham, Mike Funderburk, Kenny Goodman, Dillon Johnson, and James Ivy.
