Funeral services for Lewis Charles Craft, 26, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 10,2019, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, with Hal Senn officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Episcopal Cemetery, Oak Ridge, LA. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until services.
Lewis Charles Craft was born in Monroe, Louisiana, and passed away Monday, October 07, 2019, in West Monroe. He attended Neville High School, where he enjoyed playing on the golf team. After graduation, Lewis attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe majoring in Agribusiness. While working on his degree, he spent time farming at Whitney Island in Morehouse Parish. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and thoroughly enjoyed archery hunting. Lewis cared for his dogs and loved being around cars.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack Landrum Craft and Charles Edward Clack.
Survivors: parents, Lana and Edwin Craft; brother, Edwin Conger Craft and wife Gina, and their son, Connor Biglane; grandmothers, Mrs. Elizabeth Lewis Conger Craft and Mrs. Janna Stokes Clack; several aunts, uncle, and numerous cousins.
Pallbearers will be Sam Hopper, Colby Miletello, Matt Miletello, Luke Senn, Will Senn, Matt Senn, Charles Murry Clack, Kyle Clack, Matthew Chaney, and Wesley Crowe. Honorary pallbearer will be Joseph Chaney.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society Adoption Center, Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, or the charity of your choice.
