Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Lessie Lee Jones, 97, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday January 26, 2022 at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, La under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA
Mrs. Jones died January 23, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Jones was a member of White Sand Apostolic Faith Church. She loved working in her yard, fishing and loving on her family. She kept her house spic and span, made the best homemade biscuits and her chicken and dumplings were awesome.
Lessie was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Jones, and her son, Cleveland Jones.
Survivors: her daughters, Marie Jones Bunch, Mary Grant, and Betty Platt and husband, Thomas;
Son, Willie Earl Jones and wife, Christine; 18 grandchildren, Kim, Karla, Manuel, Rodney, Sheri,Krista, Danielle, Heath, Bo, Cathy, Charles Ray, Jennifer, Tommy, Donny, Tonya, Kelly, Jimmy and Rhonda; numerous great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:45 P.M. Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
