A celebration of the life of Leslie Poche-Jones, 49, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Ray & Rev. Elizabeth Foy officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paschal’s Cemetery in West Monroe, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

She was born September 9, 1960 and was a lifelong resident of West Monroe, LA. She graduated from West Monroe HS in 1978 and was a member of First Assembly of W.M. She served many ministries with her husband such as M.E., Divorce Care, and Kairos just to name a few. Leslie was a loving wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother, a true friend to many and she served the Lord faithfully her entire life. Her faith in God saw her through many difficult times and in His hands she rests today. Although her loss will be felt deeply, her presence will live on in the hearts of her friends and family forever.

She is survived by her husband, Les Jones; children, Jamie Chelette and husband Brian, Jenny Jones and husband Corey, Julie Roberts, Megan Jones and Austin Jones; granddaughters, Shelby Chelette and Cameron Jones; parents, Robert J. and Fran Poche; brothers, Raymond, Robert and Richard Poche; sisters, Lisa Evans, Lori Savoie and Lydia Maxwell; father of her children, James A. Roberts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Leslie as Pallbearers will be her nephews; Bart Poche, Damion Cummins, Michael Poche, Daniel Cummins, Seth Poche, David Poche, Ryan Etier, Trey Maxwell; and her brothers; Raymond Poche, Robert Poche and Richard Poche.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
