Funeral services for Leslie Oliver McManus, 79, of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 3, 2010 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Tommy McMurray and Rev. R. L. Endsley, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
Mr. McManus was born July 29, 1930 in Eros, LA. and passed from this life on April 30, 2010 in Monroe, LA.
Mr. McManus was an over the road truck driver and worked with McManus Construction in Lake Charles, LA. He was a beloved member of the New Life Apostolic Church in West Monroe. Mr. McManus is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Allie McManus, wife Peggy, daughter, Teresa, five brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include his brothers, Jessie and Rev. C.J McManus; sons, Richard and Larry McManus; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Harold E. Cripps, Donnie McManus, Dale Page, Donnie Walker, J.D. Elmore and Michael Harris.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday May 2, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
