Lelia Morzoit Bradley, 95, returned to her heavenly home on Friday May 19, 2017. Her devotion to God and family gave her great strength and peace.
A funeral Mass will be held at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Monday, May 22nd at 10am, Father Keith Garvin, Celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday, 2-4pm, Mulhearn Funeral Home, Hwy 165 Monroe.
Lelia was born to the late Albert and Mattie Morizot in Shreveport on March 15, 1922. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Andrew Bradley, Jr. and son, James Kenneth.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Jo Ann and Tom Deal, their children and families; Brad and Lacey Deal, Oli and Finn; Lauren and Charlie Colvin, John Thomas and Ryan David; her sister Evelyn Morizot Smith and her family.
Lelia was a helper and friend to all, kind, soft-spoken and always smiling. She said her greatest accomplishment was being named “Queen of Goodwill” after her 30 years of service there. She will be dearly missed by those who love her and gather to celebrate their common faith and the fact that she is now at peace with her Creator!
Graveside services will also be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Shreveport at 3pm Monday, Deacon Tom Deal presiding, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, LA.
