Lela Mae Baugh

Funeral services celebrating the life of Lela Waggoner Baugh, 74, of Eros, LA, will be held at 12:00 P.M., Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Baugh was born on December 11, 1947, and passed away at her home on September 12, 2022. Mrs. Baugh was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church but recently attended Cross of Christ Church in Eros, LA. She worked as a Custodian for many years at First Baptist Church West Monroe. Mrs. Baugh enjoyed Gospel Music, singing and attending concerts. She also enjoyed the time she spent with family and friends. Mrs. Baugh is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Mary Pauline Waggoner; and by her sister, Alma Lee Head.

Survivors include her husband, J.L. Baugh; children, Tammie Baugh West and husband, Mitchell, and Stephen Baugh; grandchildren, Whitney West and Krystal West; great grandchildren, Brylee Simpson, Christian Savana, and Devyn Coleman; sister, Jeanette Purvis; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until Service Time on Thursday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
