Lawrence Edward Monnin

Services for Mr. Lawrence Edward Monnin, 85 of Rayville, LA will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014  in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville, with Bro. Keith Evans and Bro. Bo Horne officiating.  Interment will follow in Lynn Cemetery in Archibald, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville.
     Mr. Monnin was a retired maintenance engineer and passed away on June 29, 2014.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Anelia Dee Smith Monnin, parents; W. C. and Annie Monnin, 2 brothers, Ervin and W.C. “Dub” Monnin, sister, Arlene Davis and grandson, Phong Pham.
     Survivors include:
Daughter:  Kathy Ratcliff and husband Lynn of Monroe, LA.
2 Sons:  Gerald Monnin and wife Pat of Rayville, LA.
Joel Monnin of Monroe, LA.
Grandchildren:  Dede and Jamie Waterman, Corey and Sarah Ratcliff, Leanne Pham, Bo and Lindsey Monnin, Joey Monnin, Misty Massey, and Chris Whitlock.
Great Grandchildren:  Tyler and Cody Ratcliff, Trey Caden, Gracyn and Emersyn Monnin, Kaleigh Pham, Harley and Perry Waterman.
2 Brothers:  James and Orville Monnin.
3 Sisters:  Mody Gray, Marilyn Davis, and May Williams.  
A host of other family and friends.
     Pallbearers are:  Ronnie Smith, Joe Hamm, Greg Hamm, Brian Piercy, Cody Ratcliff, and Tyler Ratcliff.
     Honorary Pallbearers are:  Buck Jackson and Roger Stephenson.
     Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Rayville.
