LaVern "Skeet" Ingram Schmidt

Funeral service for Mrs. LaVern “Skeet” Ingram Schmidt, 89, of Fredericksburg, TX, will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Forsythe Avenue Church of Christ. Interment will follow at the Ingram Family Cemetery near Mer Rouge, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
LaVern was born on September 29, 1930, in El Dorado, Arkansas to J.C. and Claudia Hanson Ingram and passed away on January 30, 2020, in Fredericksburg, TX. Mrs. LaVern was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Burkett, Bill Blythe, and Roy Schmidt; and brothers, Capt. Sam Ingram, Jack Claude Ingram, Jr., and Earl Ingram.
LaVern is survived by her children and their spouses, David Ingram Burkett and his wife Sharon of Monroe, LA; Colleen Brezden and her husband Mike of Kerrville, TX; Rodney Schmidt and his wife Cynthia of Austin, TX; Susan Smith and her husband Steve of Highland Village, TX; Bill Blythe and his wife Barbara of St. Augustine, FL; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
