Funeral Services for Mr. Lavelle Ivy, 81, of Farmerville, LA will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, LA with Rev. Hank Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Mr. Ivy was born November 10, 1934 and passed away April 3, 2016. He was retired from Ouachita Energy and a member of First United Methodist Church in Farmerville. Mr. Ivy was a Korean War veteran, an avid fisherman, enjoyed golf, bowling and baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Myrtle Lowery Ivy; wife, June Knight Ivy; daughter, Amy Jeanette Ivy; grandson, Christopher Guimbellot; granddaughters, Erica Guimbellot and Katherine Guimbellot; brother, John Terry Ivy; and sisters, Myrtis Ivy and Helen Ruth Ivy Hogard.Survivors include his daughters, Kathi Ivy McGaugh and husband David and Tracey Lavelle Ivy and fianc Richard Brock; grandchildren, Davey McGaugh and wife Amanda, Jesse McGaugh and fianc Hannah Shrader, and Tyler McGaugh; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Roger Ivy and wife Barbara, Douglas Ivy and wife Vicky, Ronald Ivy and wife Linda, and Clarence Ivy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Davey McGaugh, Jesse McGaugh, Tyler McGaugh, Keith Hogard, Kevin Hogard and Kreig Hogard. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
