Funeral services for Lashoma Jeffus Clayton, 44, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 14, 2015, in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Christopher Jeffus officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.Mrs. Clayton died Friday, October 9, 2015, at Willis Knighten in Shreveport, LA. She was a graduate of Tioga High School. The Library meant a lot to her, and she loved reading to her library kids. Mrs. Clayton was a loving mother and wife; she loved everyone unconditionally, and was generous to strangers. Mrs. Clayton never met a stranger; she always met a friend. Survivors include her husband, Harry D.
