Larry Gene Phillips

Graveside services for Larry Gene Phillips, 65, of Monroe, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Ouachita City Cemetery with Rev. Andy Myrick officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe. Mr. Phillips died Thursday, March 3, 2016. He retired from Pruitt Heat and Air Company. Mr. Phillips was an avid hunter and fisherman.Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Dot Phillips.Survivors include his sons, Kenneth Lee Phillips of Winnsboro, LA, Michael Gene Phillips and wife Dallas of Pine Bluff, LA; grandchildren, Rusty and Michael Phillips of Monroe, LA, Hunter and Blake Phillips of Pine Bluff, AR; sister, Delores Rich and husband James “Rip” of Monroe, LA; niece, Jaimie Rich of Dallas, TX; canine companion, Bugsy; and numerous cousins and friends. Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
