Larry Claude Heard

Funeral Services for Larry Claude Heard, 65, of West Monroe, LA, will be held Friday, October 1, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Monroe, LA, with Rev. Warren Eckhardt officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Friday at the Mausoleum Chapel.

Larry died on September 27, 2021, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Larry retired after a long career as a machinist in Los Angeles, California, at which time he returned to West Monroe, Louisiana, to be close to family and to help care for his mother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Finn P. Heard; sister, Kathey H. Lawrence; brother, Jimmy M. Lee; nephew, Josh Calhoun; and brother-in-law, Harvey Holiness.

Survivors include his mother, Kathryn Duffy Heard; brother, Charles P. Heard (Ginger); sister, Janice H. Holiness; aunt, Lillie Jean H. Pittman; nieces, Tammie H. Temple (Greg), Rachel King (Brian), Natalie Bassil (Brian), Bethany Wilson (Grant), and Cherie Calhoun; nephews, Charles Scott Heard (Kelly), Joel V. Heard (Wendy), Jimmy Corbin, and Jeff Lawrence; and numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
