Ronnie was born in Winnsboro, La, on March 11, 1944. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Air Force on September 21, 1962. He served as Sergeant and was awarded for many accomplishments over the years. He retired from the Air Force on September 20, 1966. He married the love of his life, Loretta, on April 3, 1964 and together they had two children who love him dearly. He attended Cheniere Baptist Church and looked forward to going to Sunday school every Sunday morning. He loved Jesus with all of his heart.
Ronnie loved his family more than anything in this entire world. He was devoted to his wife from when they were high school sweethearts to until they were old and gray. They were inseparable. Through many joys and hardships, their love was eternal. He loved being a dad and a granddaddy; he was at every event and ball game there was. You could find Ronnie at the Ole South Diner or Waffle House every morning visiting with his dear friends. Every worker there could tell you how much they adored him. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. If he needed a getaway, he would head to the camp. Everyone who knew Ronnie loved him, and he returned that love. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and everyone who knew him.
