Funeral services for Kyle David Matheny, 47, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 26, 2015, in the chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe, with Rev. Mr. Terry Waggoner officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Cherry Cemetery.Mr. Matheny died Monday, December 21, 2015, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was a graduate of West Monroe High School.Mr. Matheny was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Lee Matheny, Jr.; grandparents, C.D. and Louise Martin and William “Boots” and Rosalie Matheny.Survivors include his mother, Cassille Waggoner and step-father Ernest Waggoner; sister, Lorra Matheny Pettit and husband Steven; nieces, Casey Pettit Messer and husband Dillan, and Olivia Rose Pettit; along with a large extended family. Visitation will be 12:00 PM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to Angel Ministries, 509 N 2nd Street, Monroe, LA.Pallbearers will be Terry Waggoner, Joshua Waggoner, Anthony Jacola, Keithen Harris, Taylor Southern, and James Lewis Waggoner.
