Kirk Andrew Petterson

A gathering of family and friends to share special memories of Kirk Andrew Petterson, 65, of West Monroe, LA, will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 16, 2020, at the West Monroe Civitan Club 144 Aulds Road. West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Petterson was born April 12, 1954 and passed away January 28, 2020. Kirk was a retired Major with the Monroe Police Department with over 30 years of service. He also served with the Union Parish Sheriff’s Office after retirement. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and family time at the beach.

Survivors: Wife, Nancy Brown Petterson; Daughters, Katherine Petterson Pruitt and husband, Clay, Katie Elizabeth Petterson, and Rami Louise Petterson; Son, Andrew August Petterson; Granddaughters, Elle Alexandra Pruitt, Sawyer Emery Pruitt, and Ana Marie Jabbia; Sister, Jan Carraway and husband, Dickey; Mother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Brown, Sister-in-law, Kay Petrus and husband, Wayne; Aunts, Thelma Martin and Dusty Reed; and numerous other relatives.
