Memorial services for Kimberly Lynn Smalling Howard, 62, of Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, with Bro. Rick Crandle officiating.
Kim was born November 18, 1956 and passed away February 23, 2019. She was a member of McClendon Baptist Church in West Monroe and loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Kim was a certified Surgical technologist for many years, and was “one of a kind”. She loved what she did and was the best at it. Kim served with Dr. Ferguson, Dr. Lolley, Dr. George Sartor in Laparoscopic procedures. She assisted in Laparoscopic Hysterectomy with Dr. Hall and Dr. Clark as well. To Kim, the OR was her family, she will be truly missed by all that knew her and worked with her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Cupia Jean Smalling and her father, James G. Smalling.
Survivors include her son, James R. Howard; brothers, Jamie Smalling, G.D. Smalling, and Buddy Walker; step-sister, Gayla Griggs; companion and caregiver, James Hutchinson, numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be at 9:30 A.M. until time of service, on March 9, 2019 at Mulhearn Funeral home in West Monroe.
