Mr. Tedeton was born in Monroe, Louisiana, on August 14, 1962, and passed from this life surrounded by loved ones on January 31, 2025, in West Monroe. Kenny worked at Bancroft Bag for over 40 years where he retired as a supervisor.
He enjoyed being a printer and craftsman and made a number of gifts for his family. Kenny loved being outdoors when he could, fishing, hunting, working in his garden, and riding four-wheelers. Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Huey Tedeton; stepfather, Gary Carter; niece, Stephanie Tedeton Morse; an unborn grandchild; paternal grandparents, James and Florine Tedeton; maternal grandparents, Sid and Myrtle Johnson; special fishing buddy, John H. Hall; lifelong friend and coworker, Wes Mattingly; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Paige and husband Joey; step-son, Jason Hall (Hannah); grandsons Jace Howard, Easton Lucien, Peyton Lucien, and Cooper Lucien; mother, Elvin Carter; sister, Pam Tanner and husband Frankie; brother, Steve Tedeton and wife Brenda; mother of his children, Connie Tedeton; special niece who saw him as a big brother, Crystal Dillard and husband Jim; niece, Holly Tanner (David); nephews, Jason Tanner and wife Tarin, Michael Tedeton and wife Clair; and numerous cousins, great-nephews, great-nieces, former co-workers, and friends.
Honoring Kenny as pallbearers will be his best friend, Joshua Sandlin, Van Patterson, Ricky Harris, Mike Poole, Steve Williams, and Jodie Richardson. Honorary pallbearers will be Prentice Pace, Lee Canterberry, Pat Malone, Bobby Parker, and all workers and former coworkers at Bancroft Bag.
The family would like to thank Dr. Cain, Dr. Hilbun, Dr. O’Donovan, the first responders, and Glenwood Regional Medical Center Second Floor Intensive Care Unit staff for careful attention to his needs while he was hospitalized, as well as his very special work friends who shared many kind words about their time working with Kenny. For clergy, family, friends, and anyone who offered encouragement in any form, thank you for your heartfelt prayers, visits, cards, calls, messages, flowers, food, gifts, and sweet friendship.
Visitation will be from 10:00AM to 11:00 AM Monday, February 3, 2025, at The Assembly in West Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Mulhearn Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
