Kenneth “K.C.” Dunham
Memorial services for Kenneth “K.C.” Dunham of Rayville will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.
On Sunday May 17, at 23:53 my brother gained his angel wings. He will be greatly missed. His hugs smile and laugh are some of the things I will miss most. He loved people and like our father, he never met a stranger and loved me like no other! I want everyone to take comfort. Even though we are saddened by a life taken much much, much too soon. I am confident in my faith, that our father, a minister, taught both of us, there is a heaven and he was there to take my brother to see Jesus. We are taught that when our breath leaves our body, our spirit is made new and whole. Because if this belief, I believe KC is now talking (in a way he couldn’t on earth) to not only our Heavenly Father but also our father, grandma Fanny, grandma and grandpa Dunham, granny (dads mom), our great grandma Willard nana (moms mom) grandpa Johnny, our grandfather (moms dad- who passed 71) and my mom’s two sisters Beverly and Janet. Thank you very much for the condolences, thoughts and prayers they are very much appreciated. Mom and I couldn’t make the choice to decide (with the social distancing rules who could come to the funeral) so he was cremated. I would like to have family gatherings in different locations to give everyone a chance to get together and share favorite memories. These locations will probably be Rayville, New Orleans either Mooresville or Bloomington and Robinson.
He is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Dunham.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Ellen Like of Melbourne, FL; his sister, Tammy Dallmier of Robinson, IL; his brother Chris Like of Lawrenceville, IL; his nephew, Daniel Dallmier of Robinson, IL; his step-mother, Brenda Dunham of New Orleans; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
