Ken Fowler

Funeral services for Harold Kenneth Fowler, 75, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 27, 2012 in the Chapel at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Alan Miller, Rev. Terry Slawson, and Rev. Craig West officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Fowler passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center

Mr. Fowler was a member of First Baptist Church in Monroe.  He retired from Entergy in the Transformer Department after thirty-seven years of service. After retirement he went to Grace Episcopal Church and retired as Maintenance Director in December 2010. Upon retirement, Ken spent his time traveling with his wife, Kay and taking care of his grandchildren Landry Kate and Grant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Lillie Grace Fowler.

Survivors: his wife of 37 years, Kay Richardson Fowler; his children Kim Albritton and husband Brandon, Stephen Fowler and Staci Saucier, grandchildren, Landry Kate and Grant Albritton and  two (adopted) grandchildren, Mary and Anna McMullen; Sister, Joyce Odom; his Aunt, Elsie Peel and his canine companion, Chance

Pallbearers will be Rev. Gregg L. Riley, George Booth, Billy Bryant, Freddie McMullen, Mike McMullen, Phillip Dampier, Tommy Albritton, and Raymond Gambino

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Walker, Charlie Fox, Robert McMullen, and Dr. Dan Trimble

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Monroe or Seeker Springs 1280 Okaloosa Rd. Eros, LA 71238

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Harry Donias and Staff, and the Nurses and Staff at Glenwood ICU Unit.
