Graveside services for Mrs. Kay Francis Hancock, 85, of Monroe, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, with Rev. Aaron Dickerson officiating.
Mrs. Kay was born October 23, 1935 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to parents, Albert and Clara Owens, and passed from this life on December 26, 2020 in Monroe, Louisiana. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Swartz, Louisiana. She also retired for E.A. Conway Hospital after 25 years of service as an Executive Secretary.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Clara Owens; brother, Ed Ownes; and sister, Bobbye Manion.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, O.C. Hancock; daughters, Sharon Hakim and husband, Joseph, and Diana Pahal and husband, Mike; son, Craig Hancock and special friend, Mary Jane Alton; niece, Tana Trichel; grandchildren, Ashley Chandler, John Pahal, Abe Hakim, Louise Moore, Kay Lahasky, and Hannah Jones; and eleven great-grandchildren.
