Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Katie Mae Robinson Hart, 89, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday June 16, 2020 in the Feazel Chapel of First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Dr. Mark Fenn and Rev. Michael Wood officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA
Mrs. Hart passed away June 12, 2020 at St. Francis Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Hart was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA. She enjoyed many hobbies and careers throughout her life. She was a wonderful seamstress and owned two fabric stores. She was also part owner in a construction company and enjoyed home building. She loved to needlepoint, smock and in recent years had taken up quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jewel and Eunice Robinson, her son, Bobby Roberson, and two brothers, Sonny and Stanley Robinson.
Survivors: her husband, Russell L. Hart; children, Kathy Hale (Steve), Susie Roberson (Sharon), Mary Dawson (Rick), Ken Hart (Theresa), Rusty Hart (Karen), Susan Laird (John), Patricia Stewart (Jerry); Daughter-in-law, Patsy Roberson; sisters, Jan Wilkerson (Melvin) and Carolyn Joiner (George); Grandchildren, Buddy Roberson, Jennifer Duplantis, Amanda Whitlock, Todd Hale, Taylor Dawson, Erin Ely, Charlie Hart, Betsy Lemoine, Kelly Jordan, Ben Hart, Michael Hart, Erin Rector, Casie Laird, and Jessica Langley; 27 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Todd Hale, Taylor Dawson, Ben Hart, Michael Hart, Charlie Hart and Buddy Roberson.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home or Shriners Children Hospital.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff in CCU at St. Francis Medical Center, especially Dr. Robert Rickman, Dr. Rolf Morstead, Dr. Charles Morgan and Dr. Mark Napoli.
