Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Ella Dea Cooper Crain, 93 of Winnsboro, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 1, 2014 at Apostolic Faith Chapel in Gilbert, LA with Rev.’s Virgil Harris, George A. Boothe and Mark Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Myrtle Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.Mrs. Crain was born October 6, 1920 in Wisner, LA and passed away at Plantation Manor Nursing Home in Winnsboro, on July 29, 2014. She was a homemaker and a member of Apostolic Faith Chapel in Gilbert, LA.Mrs. Crain was preceded in death by her husband of over 70 years, Cecil Crain; her parents, Henry and Sis Cooper; brothers, Rev. Travis Cooper and Rev. Donnye Cooper; 4 sisters, Maggie Roberts, Doretta Boothe, Estelle Boothe, and Elaine Cooper, and granddaughter Angelia Diane Crain.Survivors include:Sons: Dennis Crain and wife Rita.Dallas “Frog” Crain and wife Syble.Daughters: Dora Crain Smith and husband D.D.Dorothy Crain Oliver and special friend Wade Russell.One Sister: Nobie Rowley.Seven Grandchildren: Joey Oliver, Jeff Oliver, Denise Herron, Donice Slaton, Howard Dee Smith, Stephen Smith, and Sherry Kenney.Ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and a very large church family.Pallbearers will be grandsons: Joey and Jeff Oliver, Howard Dee and Steve Smith, Dalton Oliver, Thad Herron, Connor Smith and Dylan Slaton. Honorary Pallbearers are: Sonny Man Jones, Raymond Roberts, Leo Boothe, Chester Cooper, and Ellis Boothe.Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M.
