Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Katie B. Fontana, 92, of Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Monday March 14, 2022 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Deacon Bill Goss officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA
Mrs. Fontana passed away on March 10, 2022 at the Ouachita Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Monroe, LA
Mrs. Fontana was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Monroe, LA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon (Red) Fontana, her son, Reginald Fontana, Grandson, Eric Landon Fontana, her parents, and 10 Siblings.
Survivors: Two sons, Gary Fontana and Steve Fontana; Grandchildren, Reginald Fontana, II, Kate Creel, Ashely Smalling, Pauline Fontana, Custer Fontana, and Nelson Fontana; Great Grandchildren, Harrison Fontana, Landon Creel, Mary Katherine Creel, and Hux Smalling; Sister, Marian Ann Battaglia; Brother, Johnny Battaglia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at Mulhearn Mausoleum Chapel in Monroe, LA
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN
