Private Family Graveside Services for Kathy Joleene Nava, 65, of West Monroe, LA, were held at 10:00AM Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at the Hasley Pavilion Cemetery, West Monroe with J.P. Cannon officiating. Interment was held in Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.
Kathy was born on October 11, 1955, in Dallas, TX and passed away on October 2, 2021, in Monroe, LA. She loved her pets dearly, traveling, and reading. She worked for LSU/Ochsner Hospital in Monroe for over 20 years. Kathy is preceded in death by her infant son, Michael Nava; parents, Jodie and Billie Kuykendall; and grandparents, Myrtis Hutchins and Homer Frank Hutchins.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Rogers and husband Casey, and Michaela Simpson and husband Oakley; and brother, Paul Kuykendall and wife Beverly.
