A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Kathleen Ann “Kathi” Savage, 73, will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Jesus the Good Shepherd Church with Father Tim Hurd officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Mulhearn Funeral Home with a rosary at 6:00 P.M.
Kathi was born October 11, 1949, and passed away on May 25, 2023. Kathi, or “Kak” as she was lovingly called by her family, was a graduate of St. Frederick Catholic High School and Texas Christian University. She retired from The Wellspring in 2008. Kathi was an avid reader and seamstress.
Kathi was a loving daughter, sister, and “Aunt Kak,” and incredibly devoted to her Catholic faith. She was a life-long member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church and served on most every committee in the Parish. She was a Eucharistic Minister, a Lector and long-term member of the Sanctuary Society and Bereavement Committee. She served on the Parish Council for decades and held a number of executive offices through the years. She proudly achieved the title of Dame Grand Cross Kathi Savage in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.
Kathi was preceded in death by her parents John Francis Savage and Caroline O’Brien Savage, her sisters, Susan Savage Bohac and Darby Savage, brother, John Michael Savage, and her nephew, Patrick Michael Savage. She is survived by her sisters, Sandy and Patti Savage, Aimee Savage Anthony (David) and Caroline Savage Cascio (Rodney). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Chris Bohac (Jamie) and Jenni Bohac Adams (Jim Bob), Stephen Anthony (Jeré) and Lindsey Anthony, Brian Savage (Koty), John and Katherine Cascio and great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor and Jaxson Bohac, Emma, Carson, Gavin, Milo Anthony, Caroline Adams and Amelia Savage.
Pallbearers will be David Anthony, Stephen Anthony, Chris Bohac, John Cascio, Rodney Cascio and Brian Savage, Honorary Pallbearer will be Mike Lohan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Wellspring Alliance for Families, Jesus the Good Shepherd Church and School, or the charity of your choice.
