It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Katherine Ann Clark, age 84, of Rayville, LA, who peacefully went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 31, 2025.
Katherine was born on March 12, 1940, in Forest City, Arkansas. She lived a life filled with joy as a devoted follower of Jesus, radiating His love to everyone she encountered. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, making sure no one was ever a stranger to her. Katherine was heavily involved in her church community, consistently sharing her boundless creative ideas.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Ed Francis, and sister, Betty Joe Francis.
Survivors include her children, Paula Rigsby and Francis Henry; her grandson, Taylor Cheney, and his wife, Heather; along with her first great-grandchild, Konrad Cheney; her sister, Tommie Cook; nieces and nephews, Dr. Douglas W. Cook and his wife, Donna, Julie Christie, Cindy Henson, and Jason Francis; as well as great-nieces and nephews, Levi Cook and his wife, Allison, Layne Rowland and her husband, Macon, and Max Cook and his wife, Laura.
She mirrored her life after John 3:16 NLT: “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
A funeral service in her honor will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel Mausoleum on Highway 80 in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA.
