Katherine C. May

Graveside Memorial Services for Mrs. Katherine C. May, 90 , of Belton, TX formerly of Eros, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Frantom Chapel Cemetery (Frantom Chapel Cemetery Road) in Eros, LA with Rev. Zack Anderson officiating.

Katherine was born on May 8, 1927 and passed away in Belton, TX on March 24, 2018. She was known for loving everyone unconditionally and throughout the Medical Community, she was known for surviving Pancreatic Cancer surgery for 25 years, which all the physicians thought this was remarkable and also breast Cancer twice. She loved her family and friends. Mrs. May was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and also attended Frantom Chapel Church. Katherine is preceded in death by her husband, Mervin “Buck” May; her parents Sam and Susan Vaughn Crowell; four brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy May of Belton, TX; son, Randy May; grandsons, Ryan May, and Jacob May of St. Francisville, LA; great grandchildren, Maddy May and Tellar May; sister-in-law, Mardell Floyd and numerous nieces and nephews.
