Funeral services for Katherine Barlow Peters, 90, of Sterlington, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 21, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Sterlington with Rev. Dennis Hackler and Rev. Ben Hackler officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Mrs. Peters was born September 27, 1927 and passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sterlington.
Mrs. Peters was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart Peters; and daughter, Dianne Peters Parks.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Wayne Parks and wife Connie, and Donna Whitton and husband Steve; great grandchildren, David Parks, Crystal Martin, and Chase Wells and wife Samantha; great-great grandchildren, Isabella Wells and Dakota Wells.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at First Baptist Church of Sterlington.
