Funeral Services for Kassie Blue Givens Jordan, 43, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 1, 2023, at Apostolic Church of The Lord Jesus Christ, in West Monroe, LA, with Bro. David Mixon and Bro. Glen Givens officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 30, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Kassie was born January 12, 1980, in West Monroe, LA, to Ralph and Elaine Givens and passed away on November 24, 2023.

Kassie dedicated her life to helping others. Her journey as a nurse began after completing four years of college education. Her compassionate nature and innate desire to care for those in need led her to choose a career path where she could make a lasting impact on the lives of her patients. In her role at St. Francis Medical Center, Kassie touched the lives of countless individuals during their most vulnerable moments. She also had a passion for singing and had the voice of an angel. However, Kassie's true joy in life came from being a devoted mother to her daughter, Cailin Blue Jordan. She poured all her love and energy into ensuring that her daughter felt cherished every day. Their bond was unbreakable and will forever serve as a testament to Kassie's unwavering love and dedication.

She is survived by her parents, Ralph and Elaine Givens; her daughter, Cailin Blue Jordan; brothers, Cliff and Dustin Givens; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Givens, Rodney Givens, Bubba Givens, Harold Miley, Trent Givens, and Tyler Givens.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gerald “Red” Givens, Aubrey “Rip” Givens, Scot Givens, Todd Givens, Kevin Givens, Jason Givens, Jeff Givens, Greg Brown, Merle Givens and Elijah Landry.

In this time of profound loss, let us remember Kassie as the caring and compassionate soul that she was. Her ability to touch hearts and bring solace to those around her will forever remain in our memories. May her spirit live on through the countless lives she has positively impacted during her time with us.
