Karman Karol Welker passed at the age of 56 on January 24, 2018 after a sudden illness.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Karman will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home which is located in Monroe, LA with Chaplin Stephen Sutton officiating services. Following the services, interment will be held at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Karman was employed with Pafford EMS and was a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician, Field Training Officer, Station Captain as well as a Specialty Care Transportation Crew Pafford Air One Flight Member. She volunteered for many sporting events for Louisiana Tech University as well as Grambling University.
She deeply loved and cherished her children and grandchildren, they were the light of her life. Karman also enjoyed spending time working in her yard tending to her many flower beds. She loved experiencing new things and being adventurous.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Sunshine Kendall.
Survivors: Son, Brian Welker (wife-Carly); Daughters, Emily Pullig (husband-Clay), and Kayla Welker; Grandchildren, Tatum James, Mercedes, Makayla, and Malachi; Brother, Kevin Kendall; Niece, Kyra Upton; as well as many other family members, friends and colleagues.
Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be Uniform members of Pafford EMS.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA
