Karan Kaye Sandoz

Funeral Services for Mrs. Karan Kaye Sandoz, 69, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 20, 2017 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA with Rev. Gerald Brantley officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Sandoz was born October 30, 1947 in New Orleans, LA, and passed away April 16, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. She was a retired school teacher from Riverbend Elementary and she developed a reading program for her children at school. Aside from teaching, she enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Gary Sandoz; daughter, Angela Johnson and husband Robert; son, David Ransom; seven grandchildren; brother, Ronald Younse; sister, Dot Younse; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Sandoz, Jack Sandoz, Greer Sandoz and Zaid Ashlak.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
