Kalli Jo Gilbert

Kalli Jo Price Gilbert, age 46 of West Monroe, LA, formerly of Vernal, UT, passed away July 20, 2022. She was born on May 19, 1976, to Deborah Murray Turney and Danny Price in Salt Lake City, UT.

Kalli dedicated her life to her children. No matter the hardships she endured, she always made her children her number one priority. Kalli always had a way of finding beauty and good in everyone and everything. Her love was so radiant, impacting every person she was near. Traveling and being with nature were her passions outside of being an outstanding mother. It was common to find her kayaking, hiking, or working amongst the outdoors. She encouraged bravery, strength, resilience, and compassion. No matter what she was doing, she gave it her all. Truly a woman of passion, empathy, and unconditional love. She will be remembered for all these gifts she had and missed for the sweet soul she was.

Kalli is preceded in death by her mother, Debra; brother, Joe; sister, Kimberley; and grandparents.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Gilbert; her daughter, Jalee Kelly; son, Justin Rapp; stepchildren, Hayden Gilbert, Jon-Michael Gilbert, and Avery Gilbert; sister, Kayla Turney; and brother, Cory Turney.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
