Funeral services celebrating the life of Jurd Dean, Jr., 57, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 10, 2021 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Kelvin Clark and Rev. Darren Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Jurd was born on July 2, 1964 and passed away on December 6, 2021. He loved old western movies, was a collector of all things, and loved the outdoors hunting and fishing. Jurd is preceded in death by his daughter, Kayla Dean; parents, Jurd and Margie Dean; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Lucille Raley and paternal grandparents, Jordan Dean and Vera Gates.

Survivors include his son, Joseph Cameron Dean; sisters, Kaye Letterman, and Vera Waldon; brother, Billy Dean; along with numerous nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Clayton O’Bryan, James Ingles, Chris Satterwhite, Thomas Waldon, Chris McHenry, and Dwayne Dean. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kody Simpson, James Tatum and Tommy McHenry.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time on Friday.
