June C. Albritton Petterson

Graveside Services for Mrs. June C. Albritton Petterson, 89, of Monroe, LA, will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 27, 2019, at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Farmerville, LA with Rev. Bart Miller officiating.

Mrs. June was born June 26, 1930 and passed away on September 24, 2019. She enjoyed shopping, playing games, cooking, especially for her family. Mrs. Petterson was a member of Forsythe Church of Christ. She retired after 27 years from the Social Security Administration.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Reita Carmack; two husband, E.J. Albritton and B.A. Petterson; sister, Iva Jaggers; and son, James E. “Buddy” Albritton.

Survivors include her children, Beverly Mardis (Wyman), Ginnie Sutherland, and Van Albritton; six grandchildren, Britton Mardis (Karen), Derek Mardis, Adrien Creasy (Ray), Natalie Kennedy (Jeff), Colby Mardis (Kristen), and Zack Sutherland; fourteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friends, Corky Robinson and Sara Caldwell; and Spanky her four legged friend.

Pallbearers will be Britton Mardis, Derek Mardis, Colby Mardis, Zack Sutherland, Dawson Creasy and Cameron Creasy.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, September 26, 2019, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, Louisiana.
